Earn Gift Cards for the Shopping Your Already Do

One of the ways that I save money every month is by getting Amazon Gift cards through a program called Plink. Every time I spend money at 711, Arby's, Red Robin, or Dunkin Donuts I earn points that I can then use to get gift cards. There are 21 different stores to choose from right now, they are adding more every once in awhile though and you can choose from 7 different rewards (different gift cards) to use your points on. You can choose up to 5 different stores to earn points for shopping at, just pick the ones you go to most often and then forget about it.

This is one of those sign up and forget about it things. I don't specifically decide to spend money at these places I just picked the ones that I know I will spend money at. 711 is of my favorites, I have earned most of my points just by getting gas. Once I've earned enough points to cash out for a reward I get an email telling me so and I go and check it out. Since signing up less than a year ago I have earned $200 in gift cards, which I then use to buy things like toilet paper and toothpaste on Amazon.com.

For instance every time I spend at least $10 at 711 I earn 100 points, for every $25 I spend I get 250 points. I can get a $5 Amazon gift card for 500 points. Not bad considering I was going to get gas either way, not to mention Slurpees (Yum!).

Update on Swap.com (buy, sell, trade kids clothes) Plus a Discount Code for 70% off

I posted before about having found a website that you could buy, sell, and trade new or used kids clothes. I sent my box of items in and have since had them processed and uploaded by the site. I have started trading the clothes that my son has outgrown for clothes for my baby daughter that is due Oct/Nov.

I am excited to say that I have not been disappointed, I paid $7 to send in my 25 lb box of clothes and the site took professional pictures and uploaded it all for me for free. I have already started to trade some clothes and I have been getting some awesome deals. Below is an example of a trade that I have made on this site.

Rather than having things individually shipped back to me I am storing it there until I can have it all shipped back at the same time. Storage is free for 60 days, there after there is a small fee but I will be done before then. You do need to pay for shipping back to you but otherwise trading is free, plus you can get discount codes for shipping and it is better to ship everything all at the same time.

I have received a code for 70% off the shipping for your first box of clothes to swap.com. I believe it will cost you $3 when you use this code to ship your first box in.

Get Paid to Listen to Music

There a few different companies that want to pay you to give feedback on music. What a fun way to make some extra cash! Here is a short review on the ones I know about.

SlicethePie
This company is open to people living in the US and Europe. They are focused on helping undiscovered artists. The fun thing about this is you can have the music playing in the back ground whenever you want while you do other things. After you have listened for 90 seconds you then are to rate and give a short written review. Pay increases as you gain experience. I am currently making $0.20 per song which equals out to $8 an hour, not bad considering I can easily increase this per hour pay buy multitasking. I also receive emails every once in awhile when they are giving bonuses for rating songs. Pay is through PayPal after you have made at least $10.

Music Xray
This one is similar to SlicethePie in that they help undiscovered artists. It is a little bit more personal because you answer a few questions when you first sign up about your musical preferences so that you only end up listening to genres that you really enjoy. The only downside is I would imagine that you get less work from this site than SlicethePie as you receive emails when you have a song that matches your preferences. You make at least $0.10 per song, sometimes more, and you can cash out through PayPal after you have earned $20.

This next one pays in rewards rather than actual cash. You earn points for listening and can then cash out for prizes. If you are in it for the money I would have to go with SlicethePie as being your best bet for that.

Radio Loyalty
You can earn points with this site by listening to music, watching videos, taking surveys, or completing other offers. There are over a thousand radio stations to choose from, you can search by genre, artist, or station. To earn points all you have to do is listen and rate thumbs up or down. Once you rack up the points you can cash out for gift cards, pre paid debit cards, or merchandise.

Ergobaby carrier Super Sale! Sale Over

Zulily is doing an amazing sale for these baby carriers until Friday. I just snagged myself an organic one for $65! These usually retail between $125-$145, this is the best price I have ever seen. Even better than used ones selling on Ebay.

These really are top of the line carriers too. I am so excited to put my new baby in this carrier =).

Ergobaby Carrier $65 (originally $145)

They only have 3 different ones available at the moment, they seem to be adding new stock though...or at least they did once today. They are also carrying the teething pads and the infant inserts for these carriers.

If you have never checked this site out before it's definitely worth it. They have AWESOME deals on maternity clothes, kids items and clothing, toys and things for the home. I also snagged a gorgeous nursing bra by HotMilk for $19.99 (retails for $60), nursing bras are expensive...and usually ugly. You do have to sign up to see the site but it is really easy, only takes a minute, just enter an email address and password and you are in.

Save 20% off Diapers, Wipes and other Household Goods with Amazon Prime (Plus FREE Shipping!)

Something I wanted to share today was an opportunity to join Amazon Prime free for 30 days.

I LOVE Amazon Prime, I save so much money every month because of this program.

Some of the immediate free perks to joining include...
* Instantly watch over 40,000 movies and TV episodes with titles for everyone
* Borrow books from the Kindle Owners' Lending Library
* Get unlimited FREE two-day shipping with no minimum order size

Join Amazon Prime Free for 30 Days.

But my favorite part of Amazon Prime is how much money I save everything month through subscribe and save. If you have never heard of subscribe and save go ahead and check it out real quick by clicking here. The great thing about subscribe and save is that you can set up monthly shipments of things your household uses regularly and you save 15% off of the already low prices on Amazon.com.

Now subscribe and save doesn't allow you to save money on diapers and wipes BUT I know a trick to save you 20% OFF diapers and wipes. It's called amazon mom, after you sign up for a 30 day trial with Amazon Prime you can join Amazon Mom for free and instead of saving 15% you will now save 20% off of everything INCLUDING diapers and wipes.

Join Amazon Prime Free for 30 Days.

After your 30 day trial is up subscribing to the annual service $79 per year. This may seem steep but if you are like me and use Amazon to stock up on all your household goods (toilet paper, toothpaste, vacuum bags, swiffer pads, etc) the savings will add up FAST.

Either way, go ahead and take advantage of the 30 day free trial even if it is just to borrow some Kindle books and watch some movies for free.

Paid to Review Phone Calls

I have recently started working with a site called Humanatic. It's a pretty easy and sometimes quite interesting way to make some extra cash. You review and answer questions about pre recorded phone calls. You get paid per call and the amount depends on the category of calls you are reviewing.

As you review more calls more categories will open up for you to do, and pay will increase. There is a daily leader board with cash bonuses for finishing the day in the top ten. You also receive bonuses after you complete so many calls, a thorough search could find exactly when you will receive bonuses.

Pay is through Paypal. After you have earned $10 or more you may request payment. Payment will be sent on Monday (or Tuesday if it a Holiday).

I have included a video below that talks a bit more about this service.

To get started as a Humanatic Reviewer follow the instructions at this link Humanatic Sign up.

Sell, Trade, or Buy New and Used Baby/Kids Clothes

I just wanted to share, I found this really awesome website where you can buy, sell and trade used (or new) baby and kids clothes.

I am so excited about this because I had saved ALL our clothes from DS but we are having a girl this time around so I need girl clothes now. I am most excited about being able to trade clothes and it is seriously so easy. I shipped a huge 25lb box of clothes to them last week. They take the pictures and list it all for you, then you just go on and set the prices that you want to sell (or trade) your clothes for and add other people's items to your wishlist. The prices are great and I am SO excited to start trading my boys clothes for girls clothes.

I had a coupon to get the shipping label for cheap and I only ended up spending $6 or $7 to ship them 25lbs of clothes. They gave me a link today to share with friends so they can get 20% off or cash back (not sure). Either way the site is awesome and it is worth looking at even without a discount.

Here is the link in case anyone is interested! Swap.com

I am pretty sure that they don't even take a fee and anything you sell goes directly to Paypal, you don't need to worry about shipping things out because they do it for you.

My shipment just arrived there yesterday, they said they are backed up because of the 4th of July. I am expecting batches of my clothes to start being uploaded on Monday. Once I have gone through the whole process and know what to expect I will give an update on how it all works.

So excited!

Work as a guide for ChaCha!

I have been working for ChaCha as an independent contractor since before my son was born (4 years) and have made a decent amount of extra cash this way. The way it works is people text questions into ChaCha and the ChaCha guides search the internet for the answer and reply back with an answer. There are a few different types of jobs available, from time to time they open hiring for different roles.

I've actually learned a few interesting things through answering some of these questions so not only do you make money but you learn things and could even have fun in the process. You do not need a cell phone just a computer with internet. They pay per question answered and you work whenever you want. I do a lot of this in my free time, whenever I'm home with some spare time I just log on and start answering. They are currently hiring and I don't know how long this opportunity will be available, they open and close registration when they need more guides.
